NSCRT Registration Fees

The NSCRT licensing year runs from April 1st to March 31st.  A non-refundable $75 application fee

is required for new applicants - see exemptions below.

Annual Active-Practicing License Fee

$525 annually

New member fees are prorated at $45/month for remaining months of licensing year

*RTs returning to NS or members who allowed their license to lapse do not qualify for the pro-rated fees. 

License renewal opens the beginning of February and must be completed by March 15th to avoid penalty.  Once approved, license fees are non-refundable.
Annual Non-Practicing License Fee $75  License renewal opens the beginning of February and must be completed by March 15th to avoid penalty.  Once approved, license fees are non-refundable.
Initial applicants $75  Application fee.  Non-refundable. (Waived for applicants currently licensed in another regulated Canadian jurisdiction)
Past deadline renewal fee $50 Members who do not renew prior to the March 15th deadline will be responsible for an additional processing fee.
Reinstatement fee $100 Members who let their licence expire and reapply for licensure within the same fiscal year will be subject to a reinstatement fee in addition to the annual license fee.

All fees are payable in Canadian funds.  Payments can be made by one of the following methods:

  • By credit card when application submitted online (preferred)
  • Cheque payable to NSCRT (must be received prior to the March 15 deadline)
  • Money order payable to NSCRT
