 NSRRT BYLAW CONSULTATION

The Nova Scotia Regulator of Respiratory Therapy (NSRRT) invites you to participate in a 30-day consultation on the draft by-laws for the new regulator, the Nova Scotia Regulator of Respiratory Therapy.

These by-laws will come into effect when the profession of respiratory therapy transitions from governance under the Respiratory Therapists Act to the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). The transition date is November 1, 2025.

The deadline to submit your feedback is  OCTOBER 14, 2025.

• Email your comments to registrar@nsrrt.ca with the subject line: Draft NSRRT By-laws Feedback.

Following the transition to the RHPA, the NSRRT Board will approve the finalized by-laws, which will then be published on the regulator’s website. Thank you for reviewing these documents and ensuring your voice is part of this important process.
