Clinical Coordinator

DUTIES: Reporting to the Dean, School of Health Sciences, the Clinical Coordinator is accountable for providing a coordinated approach to the organization, scheduling, and implementation of all clinical and workterm experiences in the School of Health Sciences to meet the program's learning outcomes. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a consistent approach to the documentation of professional competency development that provides evidence to meet accreditation requirements for each program area. S/he is also responsible for assisting program instructors in the development of case-based scenarios to support competency development. The Clinical Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of clinical courses, such as identification badges, computer access, uniforms, faculty licensing, TLDs, etc. S/he organizes preceptorship training for new preceptors, liaises with and provides ongoing communication and education with representatives in clinical sites regarding student experiences, student objectives, etc. S/he also participates in program, departmental, and College committees. Branch Manager

Our client, a large medical company, with offices in all provinces is seeking a Branch Manager to be based in Halifax. Reporting to the Atlantic Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for all company operations within the province of Nova Scotia. Responsibilities would include ensuring product delivery in full compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

As the Branch Manager you will supervise a team of people located throughout the province. You will recruit new team members and ensure that they receive the proper training. You will ensure customer satisfaction and oversee quality control reports. You will manage Profit & Loss responsibility along with various other tasks related to the management of employees within a service branch.

As the ideal candidate you have a background in healthcare or the medical field (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, respiratory therapy) coupled with 3-5 years of operational and supervisory experience. You possess strong communication skills and a practical ability to solve problems. You love reviewing and analyzing data in order to draw valid conclusions.
